This webinar presents the evaluation research findings of the manualised You are Enough™ peer support group specifically for parents and caregivers whose children have fallen victim online.  In the webinar, Protect Children will introduce an evaluation summary of piloting the You are Enough™ – online crimes peer support groups in Ireland and Finland. The evaluation summary will focus on families’ experiences during lengthy criminal proceedings and healing processes, including the resembling trauma symptoms victims and parents often exhibit and the importance of professionals’ trauma-informed approach when working with families affected by online sexual violence.  


2KNOW Webinar 4. What Drives Online Child Sexual Abuse Offending? Understanding Motivations, Facilitators, Situational Factors, and Barriers

This final webinar in the 2KNOW series presents the comprehensive findings of research into offenders of online sexual violence against children. The research offers critical insights into the motivations, facilitators, situational factors, and barriers to these offences, which are crucial for developing robust prevention strategies.


2KNOW Training 1. Understanding Online Child Sexual Abuse Offenders: Insights into Behaviour, Patterns, and Prevention

Project 2KNOW has conducted extensive research into offenders of online sexual violence against children. This training will present detailed findings and practical applications for professionals working to combat these offences.


2KNOW Training 2. Using trauma-informed approach when working with parents and caregivers of children who have fallen victims to online sexual violence – Insights from You are Enough™ peer support groups in Finland and Ireland

The current training will provide important insights. Protect Children’s specialists have learnt about the experiences of families who have been affected by sexual violence against their child, while the peer support groups have been facilitated in Finland and as part of the 2KNOW project also in Ireland.

This training is suitable for any professional who works with or interacts with families affected by online sexual abuse against their child. The training aims to enhance professionals’ understanding of the entire family’s experiences when facing such trauma and emphasises the importance of supporting parents in the victim’s healing process.
