Effective Communication for CSA Prevention—Toolkit

February 11, 2025
Moore Centre for the Prevention of Child Sexual Abuse

Effective communication is essential in preventing child sexual abuse (CSA). MOORE | Preventing Child Sexual Abuse at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health has developed a comprehensive [toolkit] to support individuals and organisations in discussing CSA in ways that foster understanding, encourage support, and drive prevention efforts.

This resource is designed to enhance both internal and external communications, ensuring messaging is clear, consistent, and focused on prevention. It can be used when creating materials, briefing creative teams, or preparing for public discussions.

By reinforcing a shared vision that CSA is preventable, not inevitable, this toolkit helps to shift the conversation in meaningful ways.
