If you’ve experienced child sexual abuse or exploitation,
there are many organisations who are here to help and support you.
From the campaign’s website:
As part of the work of the national Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) Taskforce – established in April 2023 to enhance the policing response to child sexual exploitation and abuse – the communications team set up sessions with the Marie Collins Foundation’s Lived-Experience Group to collaborate directly with victims and survivors to ensure any work developed and delivered put their voices at the heart of this work and the policing response to child abuse and exploitation.
The requirement was clear – we wanted to ensure victims and survivors felt seen and heard, and to encourage them to reach out for support, whenever they are ready to do so.
The CSE Taskforce commissioned Stand to deliver on this work and the project team has since been working closely with those with lived experience on every aspect of this campaign, including an extensive research and insights phase and one-to-one interviews, which have created the core film you can watch on this website.
We’d like to say a big thank you to all those who have contributed to this campaign, ensuring it has been fully informed by those with lived experience of child sexual abuse and exploitation from start to finish.
